To have seen fiery stones rain from the skies so suddenly was a surprise in these frozen climes, but given the smell of carnage and the burst of aether she felt, Zaltysâ interest was piqued. Winging her way through the frozen air, she cast her gaze upon the craggy scene below. Armored knights dashed against rocks, and nearly two score aevises lying limply in the snow. The much larger dragon landed, the ground absorbing her impact with a crunch of stone and ice. Another skirmish betwixt Nidhoggâs minions and those men of Ishgard, it seemed.
She picked her way through the wreckage of the outpost when she heard a noise, and she could nearly smell the frighted tang of aether in the fresher blood spilling from the source of the sound. She loomed over the body of a particularly large aevis, frills rippling down her spine and neck as her maw opened. Her great head struck down like lightning-- sinking her many teeth into the aevis hiding the source of the noise. Tossing it aside with a spray of acrid blood, she tilted her head at what was behind it. A lone mage had seemingly survived the onslaught and with this scent... was likely the wellspring of aether sheâd sensed. Her now-bloodied maw opened again, and a voice echoed in the elezenâs pointed ears.
âThouârt fortunate mine belly is full, mage, and that I have little desire to quarrel with thee and thine. What occurred here that comets rained from the skies? Was that thy doing?â
