Lost a Sterek Fic
There’s this awesome Sterek fic on AO3 that I stupidly forgot to bookmark and can’t seem to find again. I’m not sure if it’s tagged as a Magic AU, but it’s essentially cannon save for the fact that when someone has a sexual fantasy, the object/person of their desires can feel it.
Stiles fantasizes about Derek, Derek ends up falling in love with his anonymous paramour, Danny figures it out and urges Stiles to confess his feelings for Derek, Derek misunderstands and refuses Stiles out of loyalty to his anonymous fantasy lover, eventual clearing up of misunderstandings leading to a happy ending.
If it helps to identify the story, Stiles figures out a way to communicate with Derek through a series of taps on the lips. There’s also some world building about how it goes against etiquette to fantasize about someone who isn’t already your lover. Derek is used to being an ‘object’ of fantasy and generally dislikes it, but enjoys the care of Stiles’ attentions. There’s a scene where Derek fantasizes about Stiles while Stiles is in class and Jackson gives him hell about it.
