Metafractal wave. This is constructed by taking an interated function eg f(z,w) = z^2 + w, whose image results in a fractal, and sampling the space of fractals around a square. Each point in the square (parameter space) corresponds to certain value for w, so we build an image by arranging the resulting fractals in a grid, as if they were pixels. The result is a richer structure, composed entirely of tiny fractals.
