Let's try #messythursday on for size! • So, I open the book before me, ready to absorb a tale about exotic people in far away places-not like Tasmania or Perth, but somewhere more #special... • I found myself venturing into Grand-Bourg, a commune on the island of Marie-Galante, in the French overseas region. • Here, the streams of Rum flowed generously. It warmed my tum and anchored my bum causing me to move ever so slowly, like cooked Escargot 🐌 on a China plate. • It was getting late and I needed to remind myself, "It's not a Saturday night, Hong! And your Toyota RAV4 is very much lonely, soaking in the night air without you. • Like a Bird of Prey, with my fierce fingers, I hunted deep down in the depths of my coat pocket, and found the last Almond kernel. I pulled it out and removed the lint of its exterior (because no one likes fluff), and placed it into my mouth. Nothing goes to waste on my watch! • Soon enough, thoughts about keyboard bashing, and flashes of Microsoft Outlook meeting requests enter my mind, reminding me of the jungle I must frequent and conquer the following day. Where species of the most radical kind can be spotted loitering in their natural habitats, often feeding from the main watering hole, to which they call the Coffee Machine. • Until next time, should we find ourselves embarking on another #messythursday episode.
