You felt it ... .you knew well this was all too familiar…..Was this perhaps something of a make believe or reality??

It happened again ... .Finding yourself on the water as the sun set, the wind so strong as it felt like a silent reminder, the waves crash onto shore like a child having a tantrum, your own body betraying you as if it was just a vessel with no soul in it.

He lost her again, you saw the entire thing unfold in a distance while hiding behind a huge rock. 

Suddenly, every night you dreamt of it, the times when you found yourself with rafayel in the middle of the ocean, swimming or sometimes just hanging around and yapping…A part of you wanted to confess to him for a long time but how? after what happened? even when he was already tied to someone else?

Every lifetime, it was always her. Not you and always the second option. Sometimes you wonder, when will it be your turn? What would life be like if she didn't exist? Would you still be an option either way? 

Fast forward to present, you end up finding yourself in an art exhibition. The art gallery to say, reminded you of lemuria..From the sculptures and to the paintings, everything. It reminded you of home.

“Your…here?” Rafayel says, the shock clear on his face as both of you were face to face.

“Yes, and I did not expect you to be here” You say, shocked but did not show it. Suddenly, in the corner of your eyes you see her…The same girl that he fell in love with all over again…and the same girl who was bound by him.

“I’ll be going now”  Turning back on him holding in the tears as you exit the room. Were you not enough for him? A part of you wanted to confess your love to him but no…not when he loved someone else…it hurted…so much….

“Wait, come back here!” Hearing a voice behind you, you turn back too see Rafayel. 

“Cutie, why did you leave all of a sudden?” “I know what you're trying to do, raf. I'm not falling for it this time.”

“Please…give me-” “Then why her?” He paused for a minute. He didn't want to hurt you. Not like this. “I love you” You froze.

Did you just hear that right? I love you? From Rafayel himself? “Wait what?”

“I love you” “Im sorry if i hurted you i-” “Rafayel, slow down please. What do you mean?” You don't know what to do..The situation was something you didn't expect. 

“My pearl, my beloved” he says, cupping your face with his hands…He wanted to make up with you…During the past lifetimes in the end, the only thing that he could think of is you, not her…He always thought about you. “I’ll make it up to you please”

You didn't see him like this for centuries…on his knees pleading with the most sincere heartfelt words but at the same time your heart…melting at the sight?
