Pschiou pschiou la magie.
(Quelle version vous préférez ?)
I skipped ahead in my writing again and wrote a small scene for Ember Warrior. Merlie and Meparik get to talk a little bit, missing a home they can’t go back to, figuring out where the blame lies. Made me have a bit of good, sad feels.
would anyone actually read a merlie merman fic?
*mlem* 💦
#ICANT when elephants do that smile. It's aways so cute! So here is Merlie doing the same 💛💛

"I say a little prayer for you" 🎶🌿
“Will you—”
“Be alright?” Navaeli said tiredly, seeming to already know what he was asking. “No. I am going to find a dark void to scream into, raid your kitchen, and draw a full floorplan of this house to relax.”
“The coal-bin has a nice echo to it!” Merlie helpfully called out.
Navaeli is not having a good day. But I, as a NaNoWriMo writer, definitely am!
Merlie leaned in, frowning incredulously at his hair. “What happened to you? Did you die? Verlin said that you died. Whatever you did, you look funny now.”
“Well, you always looked funny,” Meparik signed defensively.
“Ha! I’m gonna tell Father you’re being mean again.”
“Go ahead. I’m already in way more trouble with him than that.”
“You bet you are.” Merlie swung around unexpectedly to face one of the hallways. “HEY, EVERYONE! MEP-TINY DIDN’T DIE AFTER ALL! VERLIN, YOU OWE ME THREE COOKIES AND A BAG OF MARBLES!”
I’ve completed Chapter Nine of Frostbitten Prophet, and by far my favorite part is Mep embarrassedly reuniting with his many adopted siblings. Merlie gets to be a squeaky, pink-begarbed savage.
