Love being in Wales! Nice and rainy weather so far, hope it lasts. becausegoodheroesdeservekidneys is showing me around her hometown, and her Mum is letting us stay with her for the weekend. So nice!
I start the Welsh class on Monday. Hope I don't get too confused! It does help being surrounded by it on signs and everything. (Contrary to what some anons on here have said, it is used. Real people actually speak it.) It's great to see it, but I need to learn how to pronounce it correctly too! I know the rules, but as with all languages, you really need to hear it as well.
Jet lag has caused a bit of a headache and has blocked up my ears, so hopefully that will clear up before Monday. This is one reason I want to move to Wales permanently. Flying that far is brutal on the body. It's worth it to get here, but I don't want to have to do it forever. So...move here! :)
