this is the first time i’ve ever done a bujo   (i swear i’ll try and be creative and make my own layouts aweiofh;oweihf )．☆．。．:*･° i decided to go with the theme of blue since blue is a very calming colour and i felt like i needed that in my new year. a bit early in terms of planning but, it’s better to plan ahead :’)  i still need to work on my calligraphy but, as the bujo says ‘the beginning is the most important part of work’ :’) merry christmas and a happy new year !

2017年9月9日 these past few days have been incredibly overwhelming for my city of Houston after suffering the disaster of Harvey, as well as other cities in Texas. Many people lost their homes, belongings, and even their lives. Being locked in my house because of the continuous storm and relying on social media on what the heck was happening was frightening. However even during and after the storm, the outpouring support within our community has been so beautiful to see. People of all different backgrounds joining together for the common cause of restoring our city has been the silver lining of the many unfortunate events happening across the country. Harvey may have destroyed a lot of things people worked so hard for but it did not diminish the resilience and courage of my fellow Texans❣️ my regards to other countries and states who have been and will be affected by other disasters, stay safe please *pic of flooding is not mine
