As we continue on our mission of creating a “league of sophisticated gentlemen” we launch the Los Gents Youth initiative. In our first installment we’ve partnered with @madavdesigns in providing one lucky student of St Francis Boys College with a graduation package fit for a young gentleman. Sleepless in Phoenix 💤: I woke up from a sound sleep to these thoughts and I bowed beside my bed to pray. God put an overwhelming desire for me to ask God to heal those hurting because they feel let down by love and feel guilty for not trusting His mighty plan. I recently had a conversation with my head pastor at @bridgepointfl, @timwwhipple, who shared with me the importance of trusting God and that He is ALREADY working in my life on something greater than I could see. He prayed for patience over me for I expending loads of energy controlling an outcome. He prayed with me for God to heal and give me courage to release and give me eyes to see what He has in store for my life and Greater Purpose. Can I get an “AMEN”? Listen, I know that I know that I know there are a lot of hurting hearts tonight. Lots of brokenness, lots of questions, lots of tears, lots of hurt and shame from the past and even the present. I know the frustration for what seems are answered prayers. I know the feelings of doubt that the Enemy do cleverly plants in our head that we are not good enough or who am I to think God will allow me to experience our joy after my mistakes.I know it does not seem like it is ever going to get better. Or like your broken heart will ever mend. Precious one, the pain and the suffering you are experiencing right now is not in vain. The Lord wastes nothing and He turns something intended for evil into GOOD. Your pain is not laid aside your broken heart is not cast away. Your greatest ministry will come from your greatest hurt. I like to say, “Your test is your testimony.” Something I have discovered about God is that He loves to bring beauty from our brokenness. He loves the story of Redemption. I promise you, He will use this hurt for something good.
