religion posting under the cut
for lent I gave up video games because I became mega levels of obsessed w Minecraft. but I'm trying to do more than Give Up, and Supplement as well. so I'm trying to consume more faith based media. music, tv, movies, etc. the problem is that most faith based media either straight up sucks or isn't the most biblically sound. and I don't mean that as "wehhhh this sounds too liberal" but like straight up the Bible didn't say that bro.
anyway I watched the shack which was a beautiful depiction of allowing the lord to work through grief but all the reviews were screaming the it wasn't accurate to the Bible. and on one hand no it wasn't, they took some liberties with some of the teachings around heaven. but also they were Trying. anyway we'll see how the rest of lent goes
