This time it's some neat props I wanted to take a stab at. I liked the idea of redesigning some things like hyposprays and tricorders to fit the needs of our ship, and also to help me and Nick better describe items when we write so it feels more grounded. My wheelhouse is usually in storyboarding and character drawing, so I was very pleasantly surprised at how satisfying the process of turning objects around in my brain is for me now, as well as trying to design around function. Props are something I used to struggle with it a lot, so I'm really happy with how these turned out. *Also, just noting that I did not illustrate the screen displays- I've yet to wrap my head around how to design and customize LCARS UI displays, so everything here is illustrated by me except the content on the screens.
