The post-credits part of Rift Part 8 reminded me of the Memoryheads. Is it something related to them or am I going crazy that no one is making post-credits theories?

spamton is the way he is because he talked to someone on the phone. but when someone else tried to listen, all they heard was âgarbage noiseâ
the wrong number caller fun event in Undertale asks for âG...â
The Memoryheads, who make dial-up noises on appearing, cannot be understood until you use your phone, an option in your ACT menu. Part of their sprite could be interpreted as a phone. Their sprite overall looks like a skull, and unlike the other amalgamates they are not made up of any recognizable monsters.
Wingdings is incomprehensible without using a computer to change the font, or learning to read it.

Memoryheads are kind of outliers in the line up of amalgams. They donât appear again with any family, assuming they have family, at the end of the game. They have the motif of the phone, which connects them to Gaster, plus having a vague skeletal appearance and similar look to what we assume Gaster looks like if we believe that he is the mysterious man that appears in the hidden room. Theyâre more formless than the other amalgams, in addition to being the only amalgams to have multiples and not be a single fused entity.
They also appear in the first room as the introduction of Alphysâ lab entries after Gaster presumably disappeared. I donât know how this might connect to other factors here, but that is interesting.
Maybe memoryheads are leftover pieces of Gaster or something like that? Iâm really not sure what to make of them exactly but Iâm sure there are differences between the memoryheads and other amalgams and connections to Gaster for a reason beyond just being connected to him as the royal scientist.
Edit: And at the end of walking through the true lab when you turn the power back on, only four amalgams appear, which accounts for Endogeny, Reaper Bird, Lemon Bread, and Snowdrakeâs mother, but doesnât account for the Memoryheads.
How do the memoryheads remember gaster
If any of the amalgamates where to remember the goop man it would be the memory heads. It just makes sense. haha~
But anyway, in the comic those guys are the amalgamates that Gaster actually had a hand in making. By accident as they all were.
And a little fun fact for you:
It may be hard to see depending on how/where you see the comic, but I did give each one a different color. A very slight color. One blue (right), one teal/green (top), and one magenta/purple (left).
The magenta one is also the one that Hachi, Hana's husband, ended up being a part of.
You can kind of see a bit more of him in this one (The one most to the left.)
I like to think of the memory heads as being the oldest amalgamates because of how melted/ far gone they are. So in my comic, I also put seeds all over them. Gaster was the one who was doing the experiments with the flowers in my comic. And these memory heads are the results of the "accidents" that Alphys described. Gaster had used a different ratio of Determination than Alphys did. This is also why the memory heads are pretty much just goop.
All of this just to say: The memory heads remember Gaster because of their name.
Secret Gaster messages
Awesome folks at Underminers have found secret messages in âDeltaruneâsâ code prooooobably related to our favourite doctor.
âIs that a cut on your face, or part of your eye?â.
âThe gash weaves down as if you cryâ.
âSuddenly, your body seizes up.What are you looking at?â.
âYou canât read these symbols. Or maybe itâs the handwritingâ.
âThe pain itself is the reason whyâ.
Interesting to note, the last one is a reference to Memoryheads and their words - âLorem ipsum docetâ, âThe pain itself teachesâ. Also known as the placeholder text.
Nevertheless... Look at first two lines.
