So, he hadnât technically enrolled. He was still saving money but he was going to. Soon. Evan just sort of like being on campus. There was something about sitting under a tree with a book, watching the business of the campus pass by that Evan found soothing in a way. It was predictable and familiar. School had not been the constant it is often meant to be for kids but Evan had loved it, and he was good at it. He was naturally intelligent and a hard worker, it just fit in in school.
And little blue Evan didnât fit in my places.
After 30 pages or so under the tree he got up and began meandering around in various buildings, in and out, just killing time He wasnât entirely sure what building he was in now, but he didnât mean to hover like he was,. He noticed too late and almost jumped back, holding his hands up. âSorry. Hi I... was just curious what you were doing. I didnât mean to like -- be... uh, hovering. Sorry.â Evan gave her his best charming smile to try and not seem, well, creepy.
