It was raining outside yet again, but Kurapika didn’t care, simply setting up his perch on a rooftop high above the streets of the city. He’d gotten a tip from a few of his most trusted sources that the Phantom Troupe would be here tonight. Perfect, just another chance at dwindling their numbers. He’d come prepared, a disguise and binoculars so he could see when they were arriving. It wasn’t like they blended into a crowd, especially now when he knew their appearances by heart.
It was only after half an hour of inactivity, and a growing sense of frustration, that Kurapika finally spotted them. The remaining limbs of the Spider, with a new addition in the mix as well. Great, more opposition to deal with. He quickly turned to the door of the rooftop, ready to make his way down to ground level...
...When a very familiar gun barrel pointed right in between his eyes. He went pale, stumbling a bit and not taking another step. It was like seeing a ghost. As if she’d come back from the dead, just to stop his vendetta in its tracks.
   “How are you still alive?!”
