Caden didn't know who else to go to. If he went to the infirmary there would be too many questions and despite their break, they were still talking. Caden winced as he let her clean up the wound. It'd be easier to claim he was a clutz to his commanding officer then to admit something else to the man if there was a paper trail. He hadn't said much he just asked her for help. "I know you are. Thank you for patching me up I didn't know who else to go to." Maybe that was the sad part he was going to his ex-girlfriend after a run in with his father. "I was at the bar, my day off and well I ran into my father... he did this damage to me." Caden never would have admitted that to any of his exs but with Wren he felt comfortable. He just rested his head back against her as he closed his eyes.

Caden hesitated when Wren asked him to stay and sleep over. He wasn't sure if he wanted to have this conversation, but the blush on her cheeks and the way she asked so shyly left him not wanting to let her down. "I have to be honest with you. I sleep worth shit most nights, and I toss and turn from nightmares often. If you think that you can put up with that then sure I'll stay. But if not I'll understand too." Caden would hold her regardless, as he leaned down and kissed her head. "It's not that I don't want to stay with you, I do. I just am a mess in a handbag right now." He knew she would know that, he had just came back from another tour when they met, he was out living it up when they met. It was by chance but life was full of chances he supposed and regardless he wanted to see her in the morning.

It was her tone that had him hanging his head. "Andromeda." He just said softly, not sure what he could say to her when he was like this. Sure he probably should have told her, and sure it seemed like he was in the wrong yet again. But he had done it for her. He just ran a hand through his curls. "What should have I said? Can we please just not fight." In the time they've been married he was starting to need his other hand to count the number of times they fought.

Who is the little spoon? - Wren, Caden wraps her up in his arms and holds her tight.

Who sings in the shower? Wren, it amuses Caden to no end.

Who plays pranks on the other? As payback? Caden would probably get up to some shit like that. Simple things though to make Wren blush.

Who is the one who listens to pop music? If its on the radio then both.

Who brings the other a random cup of joe? Caden, he brings one to Wren in the AM, bc he's a sweet husband.

Who picks the cheesy movies for date night? Wren.

Who is more likely to feed the other in public? Wren, if its something she's baked Caden's a taste tester even though he's not a sweets man.

Who gives the other random little compliments? Caden again likes to make Wren blush.

Who is always stealing food from the other’s plate? Wren. Caden lets her. Though I don't feel like it happens often.

Who is more likely to let the other borrow their car?  Wren, Caden's got a big truck. Wren doesn't seem like driving the big truck type.

Who makes the list before they go grocery shopping? Caden, he hates forgetting shit and having to go back to the store.

Who makes sure the other takes their meds when sick? Wren, Caden on the other hand says suck it up butter cup bc he's got the emotional range of a teaspoon sometimes.

Who watches sports and has to teach the other the rules? Caden teaches Wren when he watches his sports.

Who pulls the other to their feet for a dance in the living room? Wren, Caden isn't the dancing type but he'd let Wren pull him to sway.

Who has to keep reminding the other to hurry or they’ll be late? Caden, he keeps it simple on the go. Wren is the one fussing.

Caden wanted to believe her, but in his life people always left. So it was hard to trust that there wasn't anyone else. "So where have you been going then? El. I come home to see you when I think you are going to be here but yet you are no where to be found." It happened a few times, and well he didn't want to think she was like all the other women that dated him. Caden wasn't accusing her of anything either he had been down this road before.
