They're Still Making Game Boy Games
Some of my favorite games to collect lately have been limited release indie games made for the Game Boy.
Limited Run has done a handful of Game Boy releases though I ignore the re-production stuff and only pick up games that never released on that system originally.
I wish this was a more common practice. It's cool seeing modern game design practices applied to old platforms.

I bought this game on a whim but ended up fishing it in one sitting the moment I opened it. The writing is so good, it had me laughing out loud so many times during my playthrough. The characters are adorable and loveable, most of them at least c:. Completing all achievements only took me 5hrs!! I highly recommend this if you're looking for something heart-warming, and combat-free to play ^^

Honeydew - Melon Journey: Bittersweet Memories
I finished this game tonight and I really enjoyed it. The designs are so cute! The characters are really fun too. Shout outs to the graveyard theme for being an unexpected banger. Even though Honeydew doesn't really get too many direct lines in the game I think her melancholy from her life yet her rebellious nature and wanting to have fun when she can really comes through. She's good!
Played Melon Journey: Bittersweet Memories recently. Very cute game, love the Cavity Crew (And Ham Ghost Jr.)
