February 15th- Reading Challenge

I did it guys! I finally finished Mary Barton haha! I’m so glad I can finally share my thoughts on this book: Read it! It is such an amazing examination of class during the industrial revolution in England, and the characters are developed beautifully. It is a very sad book! But personally I found the ending to be so satisfying because I also appreciated what Mary had already gone through.

I’m also reading Animal Farm for school, so I’ll review that next week :)

I am just about to start reading Robinson Crusoe, which I’m so excited to read, because I loved the abridged version as a child!

I love the office, friends, and the good place! I grew up on sitcoms, so those just feel familiar.

Oooo vanilla sounds lovely!!! Honestly I’m not really big on candle scents. (Maybe I just haven’t found a good one yet?) I do like just plain wax tho!

sept. 13th- study with me

i had a lovely little study night last night and finally got some work done for my humanities assessment! i also presented my media assessment today ahh. i think it went well though? i just finished pride and prejudice so now i'm starting invisible cities, which i have been waiting to read for so! long! in other news, this kombucha is phenomenal, and i'm feeling quite prepared for my essay. i think i'll try and do one more practice one + an outline in the next few days (is that a bit too ambitious? maybe...) i feel surprisingly unstressed about everything, although i just remembered my spanish ws so that just became a lil bit more stressful 😭i hope you're all going well with the end of term/ back to school depending on where you are in the world :)

In other news, I’m so excited because I got all of my classes today and I have a great schedule next year! Hopefully the work load will be okay :)

February 5th- Notes

Hello lovelies!

Here are some biology notes. We’re currently doing Cell Biology which I love so much! This class is definitely one of my favourites so far, but after saying that I realise that (almost) all my classes are my favorite at the moment :)

January 31st- Study With Me

I had my very first day of school on Friday! And we are definitely jumping straight in. I’m trying to get ahead a little bit too so I can do well in class and hopefully not feel too stressed in the coming week!

So far I love all of my classes, although I’ve only been to three of them so far haha. How are your starts of semesters going?

January 21st- Day in My Life

I am feeling literally so inspired today! I was given an amazing opportunity to do a day long Marine Biology exploration which was so incredible.

I got to hear a senior scientist, a PhD professor, and a fisheries officer speak. All of them were amazing with the the coolest experiences, and everything they said was so valuable.

AND THEN I got to go snorkeling and dissect a squid as well! All in all I am overwhelmed with gratitude for this day and so inspired to keep going with my science work! VCE Chem and Bio here I come!

November 8th- Study With Me

Here’s a fun little study session from a few days ago! I have a few free periods, and I’ve found a really fun place in the school library to work. Do you all prefer to study at home or somewhere new? I’m a bit of a mix depending on the day and subject matter!
