Montreal DJ and production duo Paris & Simo have ditched their previous name for a freshly minted moniker, Prince Paris. But they sure havenāt deserted their sprightly flickering, roseate prancing future pop sound on new single All Of You, a collaboration with prolific Dutch talent Beau Collins. Imagine if Tove Lo and Whethan came together to craft the perfect bubbly aerated, fizzy carbonated dance pop song brimming with feel good vibes and a load of extra upbeat and playful charm. Cue All Of You and its sparkling suds. All Of You is as euphoric a tune as it gets, and you can also stream the uplifting electronic track on Spotify, here.

Astute Vancouver phenom Ekali and beloved Malaysian singer songwriter Yuna make a heavenly pairing on Leaving, a lustrous rippling, evocative glimmering beauty off the producerās debut EP, Crystal Eyes, arriving September 28th on OWSLA / Big Beat / Atlantic. Leaving is a graceful and nimble future bass aria, exquisitely produced and lavishly textured. Yunaās pristine voice dances ever so tastefully over Ekaliās celestial soundscape, exuding much aching regret and gentle sadness from within the songās expansive tenderness and limber swells. You can stream/download Leaving, here. Catch Ekali on his Crystal Eyes fall tour, which includes a stop at The Warfield in San Francisco on October 13th. Tour details can be found, here.

Declaring that you didnāt exist before you met someone else seems a rather sad conclusion. But yet, a truth rings through that train of thought as we ourselves recall all the moments in life when weāve felt like we couldnāt breathe without the love of our lives. Falling in love is a life changing experience, and everything that came before pales in comparison to the emotions and euphoria we feel when mired in that state of mind. I guess you can call it puppy love, or youthful, dewy affection, all of which FRND has captured to the tee on the koala-loving Los Angeles producerās new electronic pop ballad, Before U I Didnāt Exist, a radiant and chromatic hymnal permeated with much of his usual aerated charm and electro-charged dynamics. Imagine if Owl City went more dance kinetic, with a dusting of glitchy Porter and a sprinkle of Skrillexās more restrained, melodic offerings (not the heavy hitting, harsh wobbling stuff), and you might arrive at this gem.Ā
FRND says of the animated visuals accompanying the single: āIn the video for Before U I Didn't Exist, I wanted to capture the concept of forgetting the person you were before someone came into your life. I wanted the aesthetic to be a desolate, post-apocalyptic robot future, influenced by my favorite video game, Fallout 4. The robot koala (or as I call him, āKoalaBotā) represents the emotions of someone bringing a feeling to your life that you didn't know you were capable of. Once he sees the light and joy the person has brought him, he is willing to sacrifice anything for their well-being." Before U I Didnāt Exist is the title track from FRNDās next EP, out on Crooked Paintings / BMG come September 28th. Stream his music on Spotify, here.
Excuse our cheesy attempt at a not-so-witty pun, but itād be a ācrimeā not to share this contagious new treat from Alan Crime, a songwriter and producer from Finland who recently signed to AWAL / Kobalt. He melts us with creamy vocals and invigorates our hearts with a chill breezy beat on You Got Me, a flushed pop and chill house hybrid. You Got Me boasts the melty lusciousness of Lauv and MAX, but infused with a whole lot of weightless, buoyant electronica. For more of Alan Crimeās music, visit his Soundcloud, here.Ā
LA based DJ and production act Mako is preparing to head back out on tour in early 2018, and the impetus for the tourās name is latest single Breathe. Though once a duo, Mako is now centered around songcrafter and producer Alex Seaver as a solo act. This unexpected cutback in project members obviously has not had a negative effect on Makoās music. Breathe is an emotionally charged chill house, vocal bass, and melodic pop piece whose potent sentimentality could very well leave you gasping for air once its dulcet notes, dreamy strums, and melancholic vocals fade away. Breathe is out now via Ultra. You can also stream the single via Spotify, here. Find out more about Makoās Breathe tour, here.
