The new car was nice, it was faster than the last one. Which he liked. Ma Wang will probably be upset that he was driving his car, AGAIN. But the old bull was always annoyed with one thing or another, that scowling look was now probably permanently attached to his face. He was never handsome, but the LOOK didn't do him any favors. Oh-gong turned left and continued moving left and right, going in-between cars with a lot of commotion he was sure. If he could hear them, the music was loud enough that everything else was completely silent. It wasn't like he didn't deserve the car or the drive, or to do something FUN, anything fun. Chasing and finding those annoying goblins was so, well annoying.

“Tell me”, he begins and finds himself to sound an awful lot like a little boy. “You have not told me where you came from, or what business you attain.”

There were many times in his short life as a mortal that Seungchul had questioned all his life decisions. While many were petty and senseless ; brought by his youth and naivety –  there is one thing, or rather one person that he had him questioning if being reborn as a human was enough punishment.

Hands covering his face, the prosecutor let out a suffering sigh. Just what had he had he done to deserve this?? Wasn’t it enough that he’s buried ( drowning ) in cases already that she had to made a appearance of all days?

“   I’ve always liked growing plants...  I mean  ,  it’s my hobby and everything but I really struggled and failed alot with it in the past.  ”  Taemin mumbled as he gently push the hand shovel on the dirt  ,  slightly turning it to loosen up the dirt.  He had always chuck the reason why he couldn’t grow plants because of his...  circumstances.  But he had proven himself wrong when eventually he managed to grow his first plant at 16.  Since then  ,  he had been an avid gardener  ---  much to his brother’s ire. 

               it’s always hard keeping his cover around people that aren’t involved in his case. he wishes it weren’t the case, but every time he lets his guard down, he risks fucking everything up. most gang leaders won’t risk jail time for murdering a police officer when undercover officers get found out, but joshua’s unlike anyone yoobeom’s ever met before. he can’t even guess how he’d react if it all went to shit. it doesn’t half make being undercover lonely... ❝ nice night, huh? ❞

it  had  been  surreal  yet  kind  ,    the  past  few  weeks  since  his  latest  brawl.     for  the  time  that  followed  his  weakest  fallout   ,   yoo  jiwon  had  been  spending  more  and  more  of  his  days  with  the  one  nosy  girl  who  found  him  rotting  away  near  a  pile  of  trash.      whatever  wish  he  had  for  DEATH  being  the  one  to  take  him  had  quickly  diminished  -----   an  unfamiliar  warmth  taking  over  the  place  of  his  own  self-hatred  when  he  was  in  the  presence  of  the  one  currently  seated  beside  him.       

it  was  an  UNCOMFORTABLE  feeling   ,    this  .....  this  sudden  desire  to  be  domestic  with  another  individual.      the  sudden  want  to  hold  her  hand  and  not  be  worried  over  the  fact  that  he  was  a  simple  street  rat  and  she  was  the  angel  ----  successful  in  her  own  ways  ----  that  outshone  him  for  miles.     and  as  much  as  he  tries  to  shy  away  ,   to  GIVE  her  the  opportunity  to  find  someone  else  -----    like  a  hurricane  ,    noah  was  truly  the  aftermath  of  a  storm  that  he  could  not  seem  to  move  past  from.

“        ready  for  what ?    ”      the  threat  of  a  smile  lingers  over  his  attempt  to  be  coy.     he  knew  exactly  what  she  meant   ,     after  all    ,     but  would  take  on  a  facade  of  naivety  as  he  takes  her  hand  in  his  own  and  run  his  fingers  over  her  knuckles  ----  attempting  to  brush  away  the  cold.       “     you’ll  only  get  bored  waiting  for  a  guy  like  me.     ”

in  that  moment  ,    he  allows  his  smile  to  show   -----  though  the  genuinity  was  long  gone.       he  was  bitter  ;    bitter  at  his  own  choice  of  words  and  bitter  over  the  fact  that  he  had  simply  spoken  the  truth.       noah  young  deserved  better  than  what  he  could  offer  her.  

“     just  go  inside.     i  can  hear  hodu  barking  from  all  the  way  out  here.    ”        a  gentle  shove   ,    before  his  hands  pulls  away  and  hides  themselves  in  his  jacket  pockets.      there  were  things  he’d  refuse  to  say   ,    aiming  to  get  her  home  without  any  trouble  and  despite  the  short  time  that  they’ve  known  each  other   ,    yoo  jiwon  felt  less  like  a  BURDEN  and  more  like  a  human  being.     but  until  things  completely  took  a  life-altering  turn   ,   he  was  determined  to  keep  himself  under  control.
