[Nicknames : ] Slumber , Dozer , Sleeper

~ Powers and abilities~

[EX 1:] Dream/Sleep Manipulation - enter your dreams and whatnot, able to control what goes on in your head while you’re asleep. He can also BOOT YOU out of your dream and make you wake up. He can either keep you asleep or keep you awake for as long as he wishes, or till he's stopped

[EX 2:] Melatonin Mist - His magic concentrated into the physical form of a gas, the effects this gas has on a monster are the same as the actual medication melatonin, just intensified or diluted depending on how much he wants to use of this magic. Side effects of this ability being used on you are headache, dizziness, nausea, drowsiness, and vivid daydreams or nightmares.

[EX 3:] Lullaby - He could sing lullaby’s that put people to sleep except the lullaby’s would sound like really eerie like he’s luring them. It’d be like a siren type of thing it sounds so good and it’s so hard to resist but if you don’t resist you’ll highkey die since he’d practically only be doing it because Nightmare or someone else of the bad sanses asked him to so they could capture a target

[EX 1:] Struggling against him in said dream, which will usually deter him since he’d most likely only be in your dream to lightly mess with you. He does NOTTT have it in him to purposely look for a fight

[EX 2:] Gas mask or anything you can use to block the mist out with, like a cloth or something to filter the air you breathe in if the mist is in the air

~ Description ~

Local tired skeletal man gets kidnapped by the MTT and starts getting passed back and forth between the good guys and bad guys teams as a result of his abilities being able to be used for either evil or good. Melatonin is, however, neutral on the matter and does not show much care about being transported like this. He is asleep a large percentage of the time when he is being nabbed. He wears a long dark blue robe with a long night cap with stars on it, there is fur on the trim of the robe to maximize comfortability. His robe is open in the front all the way down to about the middle of his spine to which the back of it is spiked. He can and will fall asleep anywhere. He also has a sleeping mask for his eyes and two star pins on it. His magic is blue, so therefore so is his magic and anything ecto related like his tongue! He ALSO has a skeletal tail hidden under the long robe like any good skeleton does. His facial features consist of white eye lights, naturally blue tinted eyelids, and moon markings on his cheeks.

~ Backstory ~

Melatonin is a very drowsy skeleton from an AU that was labeled as SlumberTale. This AU is long since destroyed by natural causes of the AU falling in upon itself, as the monsters that inhabited it were incredibly lazy and therefore did not sustain the AU. Melatonin had escaped the AU with his brother and a few others. A creator took notice of their situation and ended up creating a void specifically for these lazy monsters after taking pity on them. Melatonin, however, travels the multiverse now that he has no AU. He goes where he pleases. Often falling asleep in the middle of his adventures, though, as he gets tired easily. One of the times that he had fallen asleep, he was found by the Murder Time Trio, who were passing through the void he was in. They captured him after toying with him for a while and found that his magic actually creates a great tired effect on a target. After discovering this, his magic is now used on targets to capture them easily so they won’t struggle as much or try to run from the MTT during a pursuit. Melatonin shows no remorse for what he is used for when he is used like a tool, instead sometimes falling asleep or wishing he could while these attacks are happening. He is already naturally desensitized, so these brutal witnessings of killing have little to no effect on his brain, only rarely showing up in the dreams he has.
