Barty might have the mark imprinted on his skin, underneath all the illusions cast on his arm, but he has done nothing more than supply information for the “cause”. When Barty finally got the opportunity to do something else, brew Polyjuice Potion for an important task with an undisclosed nature, he jumped at the opportunity. Sadly, he can’t do it alone.

Barty brought the lacewing flies that they were going to be brewing for three weeks. In return, Melaina led him to the room where they’ll be getting to know each other for quite some time. When Melaina suggested concocting the potion in her place, he had assumed that the potion would be brewed somewhere more... secure.  Or hidden.

Sturgis’ presence aside, Félix couldn’t let any of that distract him from what he convinced himself as his main goal of the night. Offering assistance if disaster strikes. If, he reminded himself. It wasn’t as big as the Easter Festival, nor the National Quidditch Cup, but with the event being open to everyone and all, that possibility lingers in the back of his head.

Félix’s personal life kept clawing back to his headspace though especially after bumping into Melaina. He had seen her around, but he wasn’t really planning to acknowledge her. They might be co-workers who respect each other, but they were far from friends. Especially while knowing her family’s views on certain matters. Not to mention her history with Sturgis. 

Now that he bumped into her though, it didn’t seem like he had a choice. “Sorry, Nott...” he mumbled. There was just a split second where he could have just turned and moved on, but he missed it as soon as it came. Félix racked his head for something to say. “You look nice today.”
