Success was a lot of things; sitting around in the med bay after youād been hit square in the nose with a pistol wasnāt one of them. Theyād been expected to complete some survival training garbage in case the pilots found themselves without their mechs, and apparently, Kyung was as much of a glass cannon as his mech. For now, the best option was to wait around with a tissue to curb some of the bleeding.

Roadhog. I didnāt even have to think about it and neither did he.
So far as I can think of, Hog is the only one he is willing to put his life genuinely on the line for. In the face of terrible odds, where everything is stacked against him, if it spares Hog, heāll do fucking anything. Including go against every ounce of survival instinct in every molecule, every atom, every neuron/proton/electron, every fucking quarkĀ that composes his body.
If thereās even a sliverĀ of a chance that Hog could survive something, Rat isnāt leaving until heās able to get Hog to safety/tend to him safely or he, himself, dies.
If Hog has no chance, heāll take whatever he can of the big lugās and bounce to mourn (by which I mean go on a hurt-rage induced chaos spree, snapping at anyone and everyone regardless of their intentions, and isolate himself in a mix of devastation and paranoia).
Not only does Rat love Hog with every molecule, atom--you get it by now--but he is borderline, if not completely, obsessed. Itās a tendency he has, to become obsessed with things. Heās fucked up and being obsessive has become part of that. Bombs and Roadhog are highkey the things he cares the most about in the entire world alongside himself. And heād rather lose the ability to make bombs than lose Roadhog.
That said, the longer he has Sushi, the more he would give up for him, too. But Sushi hasnāt reached that level yet, and may never reach that level since Rat found him as an already adult dog that he doesnāt know the age of.
