Oh yeah, Petra and Meili are also a ship I’ve thought about. Mostly in the capacity of “if Subaru actually adopts Meili, then Petra would be his daughter in law which would be hilarious,” but I think that it could work. Got any Headcanons for it?
Oh god that would be so funny, this is quickly becoming one of my faves just for that alone
For headcanons, I do think I have a few!
Petra might like Meili, but she does not trust her to not stir up trouble, is always vigilant to see if the other hasn't been causing mischief
Meili is conspiring to make Petra loosen up a bit, all that time with Frederica and acting as a maid ended up making her too uptight, she should live a little!
They constantly drag Spica Annerose and Beatrice into their "totally-not-dates" after they grow up a bit, Beatrice is NOT amused (she already deals with this enough with Subaru and Emilia)
Meili can and will drag Petra away during work hours, the other camp members pretend they totally didn't notice
Do not let them babysit, they're both awful influences in their own ways and should not be allowed to watch Spica on their own
Petra often sews up new dresses for Meili, Meili will make mabeasts docile so that Petra can pet them
Sometimes Meili will entrust Shaula to Petra, and while Petra is super flattered, she's also terrified
After they finally confess and get together (years later, because of course it took that long) they get made fun of endlessly for being oblivious by the rest of the camp
