But to me, that seems a shade of cowardice; itâs like youâre choosing the regret in advance, rather than it being an unintended consequence. You choose the decision that doesnât fear and makes you comfort. A calculated risk means understanding the potential outcomes and confidently owning your choice, saying, âI wonât regret thisâitâs the life I want.â Knowing youâll regret it and still going forward, though, feels like a dumb decision. A man would walk only the road heâs sure he wonât regret, no matter the risk. Thatâs what defines a man. And thatâs the man I like.
