okay, okay, i’m drizzle!! i’m 19, from sweden, currently in scotland for uni and trying to keep my motivation up while i wait for winter holidays to arrive (just two more weeks, bless). i obviously play clara but marlene as well, and i’m the one who uses the actual goddess candice patton on the main. i’m !!! super pumped to get this rolling gang to let me introduce you to my daughter clara avery:
youngest daughter of four in a v traditional pureblood family, both her older brothers work in the ministry and her sister is a socialite who is quite happily married and just had her first son ( clara: .... ew )
her parents have a pretty clear picture of what they want her to do and it’s basically following in her sister’s footsteps and although her sis is happy like that clara isn’t ?? at all here for it ?? and she’s made it v clear which has led to a pretty frosty relationship with her parents
like. clara has a pretty clear image of what she wants her life to look like post hogwarts and it basically goes playing for the holyhead harpies until she retires and then moving into a mansion with her gf and wearing lavish gowns and sipping champagne for breakfast
it just does not involve kids or marrying some pureblood man she doesn’t even like
clara is just very unabashedly herself and brutally honest and won’t change who she is for anyone and she can come across quite unrelenting and cold and selfish,,,, which is all true tbh. but yeah this means that she doesn’t take her parents bs and family dinners always end up very awkward and dramatic. at least she provides some entertainment tho
her stance in the war in neutral and she’s just not here 4 it. so as i said she grew up in a very traditional pureblood home and they definitely do believe in blood supremacy so those were the ideals she was raised with. and it wasn’t until 5th year that she started to realise that it was just wrong and illogical and she’s still unlearning some of it bc it’s a long process and deeply ingrained in the culture she was raised in you know
however make no mistake, realising that it’s bs doesn’t at all change her attitude or behaviour. she isn’t gonna fight in the war for muggleborns and she isn’t gonna stand up for them if she sees another pureblood harassing them like. she’s very self-centred and doesn’t care much outside of what she finds important so she can like openly admit that yeah this is bloody idiotic but she’ll also not do anything about it?? so she even if she doesn’t believe in it she is still a bystander and let it happen bc she just doesn’t care and doesn’t think it’s worth it to put herself at risk for it
also she realises she’s in a privileged position and that this system contributes toward it so she’s not gonna do anything to jeopardise it you know and she’s not gonna drop any friends bc they believe in blood supremacy so she can like.. excuse a lot of things
however if you’re a muggleborn on the ravenclaw quidditch team she’s got your back she’s always ready 2 fight for her team she loves them she’s not gonna let anyone hurt them
she’s a pretty good quidditch captain tbh like she can be quite tough and cold sometimes but she v obviously cares for it and them like this is what she wants to work with professionally if a scout comes to one of their games she obviously wants them to excel and be at their best so she’s not gonna let anyone slack off and she’s harsh sometimes but she obviously cares for them like ??? she doesn’t want anyone on the team to be unhappy and she’ll listen to their ideas and strategy and take it into consideration she knows they’re a team and have to work together to succeed
but yeah that’s the basics on my gay trash daughterÂ
