I’m assuming your looking for an answer to my statement about Beast Wars Megatron here, so allow me to elaborate. This statement is based part off of the show and part off of my own interpretations/headcanons.

For those familiar with Beast Wars, Dinobot ends up leaving the Predacons and joins the Maximals. But Megatron keeps trying to find ways to get Dinobot back. In the show he:

Creates a Dinobot clone that the real Dinobot ends up voring

Accepts Dinobot’s invitation back into the Predacons; Dinobot ends up betraying him again

Creates another Dinobot clone, Dinobot II. Spoilers: Dinobot II disobeys his orders in the series finale

Basically, Megatron can’t get over his ex dumping him and desperately wants him back.

Likewise, I’ve mentioned in my BW Megop analysis that Megatron also has an interest in Optimus Primal as the ultimate rival but Optimus Primal would rather have nothing to do with him (until he’s forced to in Beast Machines). One thing I didn’t mention that I headcanon Megatron having an interest in Optimus Primal because Dinobot clearly likes him more, but Megatron can’t figure out why. So he desperately wants to get closer to Optimus Primal to figure out just what he has that Megatron himself doesn’t.

TL;DR Megatron is extremely thirsty for both Dinobot and Optimus Primal, but neither are really interested in him.

Therefore, he’s hoe and thus he gets the nickname #Megathot.
