WAPDA to increase power tariff by Rs2.11 per unit

Islamabad: WAPDA has decided to increase the prices of power tariff from Rs 4.89 per unit to Rs 7 per unit to pay off the net profit of hydropower projects.

  The sources said that the summary for increasing prices in this regard will be sent to NEPRA for approval soon.
