-> Will Manon actually manage to meet Alan? I know, I know, she knows about the tournament and is super-worried about it (geez, he leaves you for one day and he manages to BET HIS STONES in the meantime, good job Alan :/) according to the summary - but technically, she could be asked to wait for him to finish his battles?

-> D: If Hari-san discovers greenblob-who-may-or-may-not-be-Puni-chan, we can be sure that, whether or not he manages to bring it back to Manon, he will convey to Manon that Bad Things Are Happening (maybe it’s the close-up shot on Manon’s face with the surprise-shocked expression from the preview?) - I. don’t think it would be a good idea for the labs to let her go after that...?

-> So if she’s not around in XY&Z, or barely, where is she. Will she quit, will she be on the run, will she be caught? Will Alan know what is happening? (Will he even know that she went after him?) Will he help her and Hari-san (and the greenblob) somehow? ... Is the “Manon... you and I, we can’t be together anymore.” referring to the end of Act IV...? Would it be a flat-out rejection (because She And Hari-san Have Disrupted The Director’s Research) or, once again, a pushing-away-to-protect-you (if he has realized that, uh, the labs are fishy and someone who claims to be working for “peaceful purposes” probably isn’t)? (I’m pretty sure Sweet (Rich) Uncle Daigo-san would provide the best protection and he could train her a lot in Hoenn in the meantime (sssh-sshhhh, let me dream, I know he’ll probably either just cameo in a flashback, or make a quick cameo at the beginning, or at best have A Flashback Of A Discussion With Alan Before Alan Left, but psssh.))

Alan being Alan, tho, if Things Happen and Alan realizes the labs are up to no good, he would totally buy it if Fleurdelys just told him that ~sadly, some people from the labs betrayed him, oh no Alan, please help me~ (it’s For The Professor’s Safety) (You know Alan would just... accept it.) -> I like how the general trend amongst people liking Alan (well, those I’ve discussed with) is generally “I can’t wait for him to lose against Pachira”.

-> But really: can’t see him win? Maybe the battle will be interrupted, but can’t see him dominating the fight (for long) anyway /o/ (BUT THEN HE STILL HAS HIS STONE ON THE POSTER.....)
