sasha saw a young boy with intense psychic prowess that wasnāt very honed, who came to whispering rock (apologies if thatās not the actual name I canāt recall too much of 1 atm) cuz he ran away from home after something happened with his father, and who was Distinctly unwilling to return home, and he went āwell. i ranted about this on discord earlier but sasha and raz Do have the similarities w/ parent issues yes but SPECIFICALLY its about the emotional disconnect w/ their dads that raz/kid sasha, in their Little Kid Mind attempting to rationalize a situation thats more complicated than they can properly understand, just took as "oh my dad doesnt like me and is overworking me because he sees me as a burden. i should just leave then and we'd both be better off this way"
when in reality their dads are Struggling to connect with them and care about them SO much but they just don't know how to communicate that.
and what fucks me up more is that unlike raz who did reconcile with his dad and get that chance to properly communicate, sasha might Never know that his dad really did care for him bc he never saw or contacted him ever again after leaving. and on top of that its likely that bc of this, his dad thinks he died after running away and he lost all the family he had left. im going on a completely separate tangent from urs sorry HRGCHHFGJG i just have a lot of thoughts about him and his dad
