lll has not only been disappointing b/c i don’t like the direction it’s taken, it’s because just the storytelling itself feels like it’s taken a huge step down. like you said, it is so much telling and not enough showing. ugh. :(

i know it would be ridiculous to expect it to be at the same level, because before they were basing it off something else and here it is a lot more freeform and less direct adaptation, but like... i didn’t expect such a dramatic shift, tbh.
