So here I am, waiting for the IT guy
With a promotion comes new responsibilities, like having admin access to the scheduling program we use. Unfortunately, my log-in information cannot be accepted on my laptop because of a firewall issue. So the IT guy is supposed to log in to my computer while I'm home to get things figured out.
I know I'll be right here while he's logged-in so I can see everything he's doing, but I don't really like the idea of someone looking at my laptop. Dig through my entire closet and dresser for all I care, but NOT my laptop!
And also, I told him anytime before 12 would be good for me. I should have set a more specific timeframe because I've been sitting here for over three hours waiting for him to log in and it looks like I will not have time for a bath before work.
I would very much like to have a shower beer right now
But the only reason why I'm getting in the shower is because I'm about to tackle an 8.5 hour shift.
Having to leave the comfort of Jamie's cuddles to go to work for four hours really blows.
