Digital Radiology has been gaining popularity lately, and recently the technology has also found relevance within Veterinary healthcare. With a focus on improving Equine Vets’ performance and diagnosis, Medray has introduced Agfa DX-D 45 within its Equine portfolio.
Agfa DX-D 45 is a small format digital detector which makes it easy and handy to go digital. A high resolution image detector which is light in weight and uses small sized cassette offers high convenience and portability. With the Agfa DX-D 45, one does not need to change the existing X-ray equipment, as the detector has an Automatic Exposure Detection (AED) which allows unified usage with almost all X-ray systems. This also means that the detector does not need any electrical connection with the X-ray system for processing. This wireless technology enhances operator comfort, and improves exam flexibility and convenience, even in challenging imaging situations.
Agfa DX-D 45 has been designed to improve the workflow and enhance the examination speed. Retakes can be made faster without changing cassette, and the number of images is no longer limited by the availability of cassettes. To complete the workflow, images can be sent faster to a PACS or printer in DICOM format.
The detector uses an advanced technology – Musica, which processes the highest quality image with perfect contrast detail.
