Summary: A former member of Lucille's guild, and currently in denial about being in the Fighting guild. Valuing her independence and freedom above all else, it is very hard to get her to commit to anything--whether it be a person or cause--unless she is fully bought in (which is rare). She is blunt, direct, and very selective with her words, viewing most engagements as not worth her energy or time. Her critical lens is as much directed inward as it is outward, and she spends a considerable amount of time reflecting over her past actions, deciding what she now knows "doesn't work" and must avoid. She hates unpaid debts, and most of her acts of kindness towards others are because she feels she has a favor to repay; a favor or debt may just be a normal part of friendship, but she takes no chances. Since she has this standard for herself, she is very perceptive of uneven interpersonal dynamics, which may be her only properly developed social skill.

Background: Born in Hoenn, but comes from a family line without strong geographic roots. Her mother is a Medicham like her, and her father is a Hariyama. She is a somewhere-in-the-middle child of five siblings. She has always had a rebellious streak, with a history of running away for days at a time. Her behavior caused her family worry until they became numb to it. At some point she left completely and cut contact, leaving a note, with no specific, objectionable behavior seeming to be a root cause. She prefers Sinnoh to her home region due to its colder, less humid climate, and stable weather. While she is currently in contact with her mom, having resumed contact and is providing some updates on her life, there were periods of time where she did not communicate with her family at all.

notes:

-i play with a modified species clause, so if i encounter an evolution of a pokemon i already have, i can catch it so long as i never actually got that evolution; for lihue, she fainted as a meditite, meaning i was able to catch a medicham. i treated this as the same lihue, with a new nature and characteristic indicating a maturity in her character.

-she joins the team in her late teens, and is around 18 as a meditite. You can assume all other second evolution stages of the cast on the main team were also likewise around 18.
