If you have a chronic condition go to the student support office in the chemistry building, if they do an assessment of need for you which includes extension requests then you basically have them guaranteed every time.For next time. :)
My anxiety is on my record at uni through disability services, but usually i don't need extensions or anything, other than support with speaking Spanish and occasionally during exams. I put in for an extension because I had family go into hospital last week so then I was going to the hospital and worrying and not sleeping and not working on my coursework because my family was in the hospital possibly dying. It was just an emergency thing, but because of the extra time pressure I now have that's setting off my anxiety a bit. Normally I don't need extensions like this, it's just frustrating

I have depression too! Apparently people with chronic diseases are more prone to it, go figure. I'm taking anti-depressants but I don't know if they've helped. I'm going to see a psychologist who specialises in treating people with t1d next week.

IIRC you only got diagnosed recently, right? Testing is a habit which needs to be ingrained, give it some time.
It's been almost 7 months. I didn't have this problem until recently, usually I'm really diligent about testing my blood sugar. IDK what's going on all of the sudden.
