this wasn’t the first time it happened, nor would it be the last one, if sofi had to guess. she had a horrible track record with her gardening tools and injuries. it wasn’t usually bad, she could usually take care of things with her first aid kit and some band-aids, but this time she couldn’t stop her hand from bleeding. she still walked casually to the clinic, unconcerned as the cut didn’t quite hurt just yet, but she figured it would once she tried to close her hand into a fist. she had wrapped it in a kitchen towel that almost fell to the ground when she saw a different face at the front desk — this was a very different, very handsome face. “hey,” she stumbled into the door as she spoke. “is the doctor in? i cut my hand and the band-aids didn’t work. might need to get it looked at.” she mustered while trying to avoid the man’s face, for no reason other than she didn’t want him to see her blushing. @mediice
