These Italian Style Meatball Kabobs are a flavorful twist on traditional kabobs, featuring homemade meatballs infused with Italian seasonings and paired with colorful vegetables. Perfect for a summer barbecue or a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef. 1/2 pound ground pork. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley. 1 egg. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional. 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks. 1 red onion, cut into chunks. 1 zucchini, sliced. 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water.
Instructions: Put ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley, an egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes if you want in a large bowl. Mix everything together well. Make meatballs that are about an inch across with small amounts of the meat mixture. To make kabobs, thread the soaked wooden skewers with meatballs, bell pepper chunks, red onion chunks, and zucchini slices in that order. Set your grill's heat to medium-high and lightly oil the grate. The Italian-style meatball kabobs should be cooked on the grill for 12 to 15 minutes, turning them over every so often, until they are fully cooked and the outside has a nice char. If you want, you can serve the kabobs hot with extra grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top. Enjoy your tasty meatball kabobs made in the Italian style!
