Eat Your Peas | Darcy & Bruce
Carefully balancing a tray of food, Darcy made her way down the hall to what she's decided is her lab. Never mind that Bruce and Jane use it too, it clearly belongs to her. In the few weeks that she's been working there, she tidied up the the place, had somebody in to clean off the surfaces that didn't have an experiment on them, reorganized the file system, and added a mini fridge that Darcy prompted labeled (in every color sharpie she could get her hands on) "REAL FOOD. NO SCIENCE ALLOWED".
The place was starting to look more hospitable, even if she hadn't managed to get Bruce to stop sleeping on the cot in the corner, and actually go use his bed. That was her next battle. Darcy already had her little corner, desk and all. There were some photos up, and a small Iron Man action figure, Clint had gotten her as a joke back in New Mexico. Every morning, between 9am and 10, Darcy made her way downstairs with enough coffee and breakfast to feed more than a few hungry scientists.Â
Currently, it was time for a late lunch, and she knew for a fact that one Doctor Bruce Banner hadn't eaten since she brought him dinner the night before. The bagel she had left out that morning had gone uneaten, as well as the carrot snack she tried to force feed. At least he had drank the juice. That had some nutrients in it. Â
"Bruce," Darcy called out, getting the lab door open with some magic, "I have lunch and good god you're going to stop whatever extremely important experiment you're working, sit down, and actually eat it."
