If I've learned anything by putting my drawings on tumblr is that when I do my own thing, I tend to get better results than when I try to draw things that are popular or that I think are more likely to get notes. I say draw what you enjoy drawing! People will get on board with it, it just may take some time. For what it's worth, I love seeing your art no matter what characters it is! (:
