MY FIRST EVER RESEARCH CHEMICAL MDAI produces mild and dreamy entactogenic and empathogenic effects. It doesn’t light any fires but with expectations set accordingly it makes for a fairly pleasant few hours.
I do have to admit to some bias towards it, as it was the first research chemical I ever sampled. I recall that I was taken aback that it actually worked. It came (courtesy of a head shop) as a cream/brown powder in a medium sized capsule, and I certainly enjoyed it. With repeated use over time though, its impact did seem to wane.
Later on it became synonymous with legal high brands and blends, as it was frequently added to other chemicals, particularly stimulants.
Despite its fairly benign reputation, the usual caution and safety measures should be carefully observed.

MDAI Despite intermittent supply, MDAI was one of the most popular chemicals during the legal high years. Whilst it was a relatively mild empathogen, it was sometimes surprisingly effective. Its niche tended to be as an additive to a blend; usually bringing something to a stimulant (such as MPA). It provided my first foray into the research chemical field.

MEAI was originally developed circa 2014, and was broadly presented as a replacement for alcohol. However, it only ever emerged on to the markets temporarily, as a 'legal high' research chemical. I found it to be a mild cross between MDAI and alcohol, but without the more unpleasant side effects of the latter.
Subsequently, its inventor (Dr Z) reportedly donated it to David Nutt's 'DrugScience" research group for further development. However, despite making several approaches and attempts to submit and discuss my own findings, no response was ever forthcoming. At this point it therefore appears to have been consigned to the annals of history.
