Btw am I like the only one in this fandom that really likes Khan?? I understand the reasoning behind why you guys donāt like him, but I like the fact that heās not a static character and is actively trying to improve himself. I am a certified Khan lover. Argue with the wall.

Oh hi, yes... I'm late... By 8 days... But who really cares when it's a nice cozy chapter? And a fic I haven't updated this one in a month? (I'm big time dulu :3)
V had her claws out for fun and prowled around the spire, playing a game of hide and seek with Uzi.Ā
N and J were off hunting, leaving V to watch Uzi.
Hearing some muffled giggles, V knew where Uzi was. She rounded one of the small corpse towers and playfully pounced onto Uzi, then lifted her up, spinning around. Uzi joyously screeched.
āFound you!ā V proclaimed happily, chuckling softly. She brought Uzi close to her, nuzzling their visors together.
Uzi pulled away.āCan we do that again? Itās really fun!āĀ
V rolled her eyes, and softly sighed. āSure, now Iāll count to 30, so go!ā V lowered Uzi and ushered her off, closing her eyes to count. She could hear the small footsteps of Uzi. And you said you wouldnāt get attached~. I AM NOT! Youāve been leaving me alone, so why now? I donāt know, maybe you just need help in releasing that youāre attached. V quietly growled.
V realized she wasted more time than she should have, she looked around the spire once more, she knew where Uzi was, but didnāt go to her right away.
āOh Uzi⦠Where are you?ā She exaggerated her words, causing Uzi to quietly giggle.Ā
āAre you here?!ā She pretended to look in the wrong spot, causing Uzi to laugh more. āNot thereā¦ā A sly, but also genuine smile was on her face.
āHmmm⦠Where is Uzi⦠Oh where could she beā¦ā V tapped a claw on her chin. āHow about here!ā The small drone squealed from V suddenly grabbing them.
āGot you.ā V softly said, then tossed her into the air,Ā giggles emitted from the child. When V caught her, she set her down, sighing.
Uzi looked up at V, a wide smile on her face. āCould we go for a walk? J has taken me on some!ā No point in saying noā¦
āSure.ā V rubbed her hand over Uziās hair, making her beanie lopsided.
āHey! My hair! J just brushed it!ā Uzi glared at V as she fixed it. V smirked in response.
āOh? Did I mess something up?ā V did it again, aggravating the child.
After promptly fixing her hat again, Uzi watched V, and ran to the exit laughing like a gremlin. āHey! You canāt just run off like that!ā V quickly followed, catching up with no problem. Uzi didnāt even leave the spire yet.
V grabbed Uzi by the collar of her shirt. āDid you try to run from me?ā V teased, holding Uzi up to her face.
āYeah.ā She smiled. āI know youāll always find me!ā V set Uzi down, and they slowly started walking, Uzi grabbed two of Vās fingers because of how small her hands were.
They walked through the snow ruins of the city, Uzi stuck by Vās side, but observed the area.
Skyscrapers crumbled around the deserted street only filled by cars and skeletons. Lamppost flicked on and off as the wind gently met them. The clouds blocked the starry sky, only letting glimpses of light from the two moons trickle into their apocalyptic home.
Uzi gently let go of Vās hand to walk over and observe some robo roaches nearby. They crawled over a long dead drone, who V recognized as her own work. āUzi. Remember no biting.ā V warily called out, slowly walking over. Well⦠Iām glad she isnāt afraid of the body?
Uzi watched them intently as two of the roaches started to fight. The bigger one swatted at the significantly smaller one, and pierced through the body of the tiny pest, causing it to die.
āAww⦠I was hoping the smaller one would winā¦ā Uzi stood up and faced V, grabbing her hand.
āWell it was at a disadvantage.ā They continued their walk, but Uzi kept the puzzled look on her face.
āWhy? The bigger one was missing a legā¦ā V was slightly surprised Uzi noticed that, because she didnāt.
āBecause of its size, it was weaker, whereas the bigger one was stronger.ā
āThatās not fair⦠Size shouldn't matterā¦ā Uzi pouted, crossing her arms. V muffled a laugh from the small droneās actions.
āWell then⦠How do you suppose the smaller one should act? How should they gain their success?ā V lighty mused.
ā... Maybe⦠Maybe because itās smaller it could be faster..? And-and like⦠hit the bigger oneās legs! Making them fall! So the smaller one could then attack it!ā As Uzi thought, she gained confidence in her idea.
āThat could work⦠But what if it doesn't? What then?ā V bantered back, watching Uzi curiously.
Uzi stopped, and blankly looked at V. āThen I'll kill em.ā Her answer caused V to laugh.
āCome on, letās head home now, wanna fly?ā Uziās eyes practically light up.
āYES!ā She jumped up and down. V giggles and grabs Uzi before jumping into the air, wings deploying mere seconds after.
V glided past the street, heading to the spire with a soft thud signifying her presents. She lowered Uzi onto the ground as N landed beside them.
āWhere were you guys?ā N asked Uzi, who instantly hugged him.
āWe went on a walk!ā She smiled wide as Something caught her eye.
āThatās goodā¦ā A small chuckle leaked into the air, and suddenly Uzi grabbed Vās tail, causing her to almost stab the child.
āUzi, stopā¦ā V blankly looked at Uzi.
āNo!ā Uzi grinned, seeing how far she could push V.
āIf you donāt then Iāll stop you.ā
āBite me!ā Uzi giggled.
V then lunged at the small child, and grabbed the back of their shirt by her teeth. Her voice was muffled by the fabric.
āLet go of me!ā Uzi flailed around, but to no avail. V chuckled and shook her head, causing Uzi to flail more.Ā
āV!ā N called out, joyfully shocked at her actions, and V just rolled her eyes and dropped Uzi.
āThere. Little brat.ā V jokingly called Uzi, ruffling her hair.
Uzi frowned at V, and ran over to Nās side. āThis is why I like dad better.ā

The rain pattered around the graveyard.
Rain was a near constant.
But life wasnāt.
A sharp gasp cut through the marching of the drops, heavy breathing followed with movement.
The graveyard watched from its many eyes, eyes that belonged to drones long gone. There was no one to help them escape, the little girl was long gone.
But that wouldnāt stop Uzi.
Uzi just layed there, processing everything that happened that seemed mere minutes ago.
D-did we win⦠whereās N? V? W-why canāt I TALK? I-I-I-I- The crunch of glass and flap of leathery wings echoed through, the guard was back.
Whoās here⦠Her violet eyes only had white, gray, and black around her vision with an uneven red overlay. The only piece of the outside was minimal. Like a small scratch. All that she could see out of it was a puddle, some tree root, chain-link fence, and grass.
Am⦠I dead? Then how am I alive⦠Well, I feel alive⦠But that alone doesnāt mean anythingā¦
Her thoughts froze when she saw a drone's arm come down, the hand replaced by a claw.
Who are you⦠small chirps could be heard. Then the arm left in an instant, they had taken off. I should probably start a timer, see how long it takes them to come backā¦.. And Uzi did just that.
Whomever it was, they take about 11 minutes. Best say itās 7ā¦
Uzi waited till they left for the 8th time, then 2 minutes, before trying to move.
The metal above her groaned and creaked when she pushed up. She didnāt notice it before, but something had punctured her chest, thankfully only getting her voicebox.
Uzi used her solver to support the pile above her, allowing her room to sit. 5 minutes left⦠get over the fence, then run⦠yep, best plan i gotā¦
Uzi then recognized what was surrounding her: Corpses. Droneās. Iām in a graveyard. So am I dead?Ā
Uzi pushed a body away, pulled herself out, then pushed it back in place. 2 minutes?! Iām really cutting it short⦠I have to go now! Uzi dashed to the fence, it was barely taller than her. She put her foot in one of the holes, her other foot swung over and made contact with another hole.
Uzi took a glance back, bodies Piled upon each other. The fence connected to a small shed, it could barely have two workers fit in there from what Uzi could judge.
She then dropped from her position on the fence, and looked the other way. It was a large forest, Filled with oaks, weeping willows, and other trees Uzi didnāt even know. The floor of it looked damp, puddles everywhere, hard to tell if it was grass or moss that covered the floor. A low and wispy fog trickled from the woods, it would barely reach the top of her socks.
Uzi dashed to it, it was the only thing that seemed relatively safe from whomever came. How much time is left-... 34 secondsā¦
Uzi panicked. GET-BEHIND-A-TREE-GET-BEHIND-A-TREE-GET-BEHIND-A-TREE-IT DOESN'T-MATTER-JUST-LIVE! Uzi ran, not daring to look behind herself.
She tripped. Face planting into a puddle. Uzi pushed herself up, her jacket and beanie drenched. She froze for a second, then ran again. Times up⦠theyāll be here soonā¦
Uzi kept running, flaps of leather seeping into the sound of the rain. Uzi ducked behind a tree, still standing.
Less than 3 seconds later, a blur of white and black passed her. Giggles surrounding it. Uzi booked it, going left from where the thing had passed her.
Uziās processors were going into overtime. Hide! Hide! Find a route! Find a route! She kept running, the fog grew taller and denser the farther she went in. Suddenly the blur from before tackled her right side. Their right claw held her head down along with blocking her view of them.
nononONONONONO! Uzi kicked her attacker in what would be considered the stomach. They recoiled from that, but was barely down for a seconded before jumping to their feet, snarling and hissing. She was a worker wearing a maid outfit, only her right hand was clawed with a yellow eye on top of it, she had the striking yellow eyes and armband that any D-drone would have. Her silver hair seemed somewhat messier than usual.Ā
Uzi froze as she looked at her attacker, then quickly ran again.
Uzi ran and ran and ran, turning whenever she could, until the attacking drone got caught in some of the branches of the trees. Taking this chance, she ran to a tree, and climbed it.
She waited and waited. The rain covered her.
ā
After being so bored from waiting for the hunter, she climbed higher, she kept climbing, breaking through the blanket of leaves. She scanned the area, trees seemed to stretch everywhere, the only clearings being the graveyard and a building.Ā
There! A house! No, not a house, a mansion of sorts! Who would live all the way out here? Actually, where IS here?!
Uzi then saw her attacker, flying to and from the mansion and graveyard. So she gave up? Weird, seems unlike her⦠but i think thatās my best betā¦
Uzi crawled down, and walked in the direction of the home. Careful of the vines, branches, roots, and puddles.
When she reached the tree line, she didnāt run out immediately, instead, she waited till she knew that the drone couldnāt see her.
Now! The drone landed onto the roof and was walking on it, still completing what they were doing. Uzi ran to the doors, it was less than a mile away.Ā
Uzi ran but then her core ran cold, the leather wings were getting louder, Uzi kept running. But the wings grew quiet. Uzi didnāt slow until she reached the porch.
It was somewhat simple, just an extrusion with 2 posts on the corners with lanterns on each and a roof. Uzi climbed up the stairs and went to the grand double doors, they were a nice deep brown with golden colored handles. She stepped closer to the door bell, the same gold color but a nice white button that had a warm glow to it, and pressed it.
Uzi heard the soft jingle of the bell, and then someone rushed to the door. It opened with a nice soft creak, and she saw the familiar yellow eyed worker drone in a butlerās suit, his sweet smile the same. Something is wrongā¦
Uzi tried to say his name, but only a sharp pain and garbled static emerged, she slightly freaked out at that.
āWhoa! Slow down! Donāt want to damage yourself more!ā he joyfully said, voice still the same. āYou're new here, yeah?ā his tone softened. āWeāll get you cleaned up and a new uniform.ā
Uzi slowed with his words, watching him carefully. Donāt you remember me? Uzi? Please..? She then picked up the flaps of wings nearby her, she moved smoothly out of the doorway, onto the outskirt of the porch.
The drone didnāt have enough time to adjust, and ran into the drone, knocking them both down with a surprised squeak.
