During one of the bakery's more relaxed moments, Chris found himself preparing a fresh batch of bread while he made various brooms sweep the bakery. The familiar ring of the door echoed through the bakery.

"Just a minute!" he called from the kitchen. Gingerly, his hands took out a freshly baked batch of their arepas. A proud smile spreads across his flour-covered cheeks. After washing his hands, he stepped out to the counter.

"Hey there," Chris smiled. "Sorry for the wait! What can I do for ya?"

Bucky was definitely someone who’s actions speak louder than words, although he tried - at least with the ones he cared about. His jaw flexed, she was working too hard and he knew why but he did try to take care of her, just as she did to him. “Eat and call it a night.”

Coming around the desk, his right hand at the back of her neck as he placed a soft kiss to her forehead. Looking down at her with a soft smile before turning to leave, he was going to spoil her. She deserved it. And she put up wirh him. Heading to her room with a bottle of red wine and setting her a hot bath. Anything to get her mind off work.

James had such a hold on her. It was moments when he used his power that she was happy she only used it for good.

His kiss on the other hand, that felt like a power of a magician. It soothes her and relaxed her and she could nearly feel the weight of how tired she was the moment his lips met her forehead.

Nodding simply Natasha ate quietly and finished up one or two files of research before dragging herself to the bedroom. Hearing the water run Natasha sighed and leaned against the door.

“Nothing.” Natasha groaned tossing him the binoculars so he could keep watch for a change.

“Well, Thor and them are different,” he said, looking up at the Gray. “Gods or not, they do things themselves and are no less terrifying than facing down any other superhero. These gods with Avatars on the other hand? They’re much more terrifying. Why? Because people like you and me can’t kill them. Supers? You just have to know what you’re doing. These guys? They’ll screw you up from whatever planes of existence they’re on, and you can’t do anything about it.”

Darius looked down the sights of his Glock before holstering it with a satisfied nod.

Darius looked at the sky, bruises and no small amounts of cuts and scrapes littering his body. Earlier, he’d scoffed at the deal. Marc would need a whole lot more to offer than just going to Therapy to get him to tell his folks he wasn’t in the army anymore.

Now however, with his body filled with aches and pains, the deal was starting to look tempting.
