Okay, so, we all know I’m a sucker for “character trapped in their mind by a force or parasite that floods them with happy memories/thoughts to prevent them from coming to their senses and/or fighting back against them and they freak out when an outside force disturbs that illusion.”
No? You didn’t know that? Well you do now. But anyway,
This trope but with Hijacked AU! JUST LISTEN!
When PAMA is in control they will essentially trap Radar in this scenario, rather than what typically happens to a chipped drone, since PAMA is using Radar as a host rather than a worker, so they need him to be as compliant as possible.
AND THEY’RE TRAPPING HIM IN THE ALTERNATE ENDING WHERE JESSE STAYED BECAUSE I WANT IT!!! HUMOR ME!!!!! LET ME TORTURE HIM!!!!
And when the REAL Jesse infiltrates PAMA’s system, Radar LOSES HIS SHIT! Because if you’re Jesse, who the hell is that?! And then PAMA has to reset the whole simulation and kick the real Jesse out because “erm wtf dude? Quite messing with my host?!”
Anyway, I have a lot of angst ideas…trust!
Hijacked AU but Jesse and Hijacked Radar’s fight ends with Radar being hospitalized.
Hijacked AU but Jesse accidentally mortally wounds their friend and is even further traumatized than they were before.
Hijacked AU but Radar is freed from PAMA but at what cost
Hijacked AU but what if this actually happens in the AU and is not hypothetical.
I finally understand TRUE usefulness
