I was looking at the Assassins Creed wiki and look what happened to be there. I don't think that disproves a theory, I think thats called being subtle.

That in the Assassin's Creed movie, McGowen, who is the head of security at Abstergo and Sophia Rikkin's henchman, looks just like the 1492 Templar Ojeda? Or was that just me? I really want to headcanon it that McGowen is the descendant of Ojeda. Which would be a good parallel with Ojeda killing Maria fighting Aguilar, and hunting down Assassins, whilst McGowen watches over the assassin descendants, knows assassin history, and even tells Callum that he admires them.

That thought that McGowan, was shady as fuck in the assassins creed movie? With the rest of the templars(Sophia, Alan, Creepy Elder Woman that remains nameless) their motives and goals are very obvious, but McGowan...he was just shady. I feel like there is something there, something up with him, because he kept reappearing in scenes and he survived through the movie when there was really no reason why. To add to that, I can't tell if it was because he always seemed to be watching the assassin descendants with such intent, or the way he resembles Ojeda, or just the way he spoke about the origins of the assassins and how he admired them for how they once were....I just....does anyone have any idea or opinion why McGowan was shady as fuck?
