            he is not joffrey. joffrey is dead. he clawed his own throat to ribbons. joffrey is dead. his face was purple. joffrey is dead. he can torment me no longer. joffrey is dead. eyes survey the blond pevensive apprehensively. cautiously. hands tucked behind her back, hiding, as nails dig into the bed of her palms, the pain merely to distract from the thoughts in her head. a distraction from her desire to run. but he too is a king and she could not run from this king as much as she could from the last. another blond boy king to torment her, another joffrey. but joffrey is dead. she reminds herself, mind racing. eyes flash and momentarily peter’s face is changed, morphing into the face of the other king. bottom lip trembles and eyelids fall shut, willing him to leave her, thoughts begging, crying out. 

“Safe passage?” Did he know who he was talking to? Harriet Hook and her crew were notorious for taking advantage of travelers who asked the very same question. “I can help y’wit’ tha’, ‘cept there’s one thing: wha’s in it fer me?” And it wasn’t just travelers the crew took advantage of.
