Aerendyn Parish will be run as a business owned by Father Aereck. The build is simple, featuring bright walls designed to reflect the Watcher’s lightness. Adjacent to it is a spacious plot of land reserved for future grave sites—available for a fee!

It might seem a bit extreme, but I’m paranoid and the hope is that this initiative will encourage population growth and help counterbalance the impending losses from the harsh winter.

Things are starting to improve! The church now welcomes at least three parishioners daily. Father Aereck has been putting in tireless effort to connect with the community, hosting multiple daily services and group gatherings. Slowly but surely, faith is beginning to take root!

The welcome wagon arrives! And, of course— it's the soon-to-be-wed couple, Alberet Eggleton and Myssa Brewster, who come to greet the new priest. Unfortunately, their visit went sour very quicky. Father Aereck took an instant dislike to Myssa and poked and bullied her shamelessly.

My initial plan was to run the church as a business, charging sims a "tithe" for being on the premises. The challenge, however, is getting sims to actually come to church! It’s proving to be more difficult than I anticipated, especially since there isn’t much engaging activity on the lot. At least we have one dedicated devotee—servant Marya!

With winter approaching, he decides to offer nettle soup in anticipation of the seasonal sickness. Alongside the soup, he plans to sell various religious statues and trinkets to further entice visitors.

Father Aereck’s round comes to an end, leaving him feeling a bit melancholic. As a family aspiration sim, it’s becoming clear that a solitary life in the church may not truly fulfill him. Despite this, I had a great time playing this household and managing the church. No taxes were collected from this household. Next season, I think I’ll have him explore his personal ambitions!
