"Dream, could you maybe not add to the damage?" Sapnap asks, already sounding defeated as he softly knocks his fist against the wall. "At least George's tunnels are tiny."

"Okay, but-" Dream pokes his head through the hole and George throws another piece of wood, managing to hit him right in the middle of his stupid mask. "Ow! Sapnap, he's throwing things at me!"

"How am I the youngest one here?" Sapnap grumbles. George can hear him stand up and start to walk away. "You two can figure it out on your own."

Well, shit. George can't see behind Dream's mask, but he's probably got a smug look on his face.

"No Sapnap to hide behind now?" Dream taunts, clearly trying to sound menacing, but the giggle that slips out of his mouth pretty much ruins it. "You shouldn't have messed with my stuff."

"You're an idiot and I hate you," George shoots back, crossing his arms. "And technically it's all Sapnap's stuff, so you messed with it first."

Dream sticks his arm through the hole but George just takes a single step back, cackling when Dream ends up grabbing nothing but air.

"Your arms aren't long enough, idiot!" George lets out a gleeful shriek, hopping forward before stepping back again just in time to avoid Dream's grasp. "Ha! I just ratioed you in real life!"

"I have no idea how Sapnap hasn't stuck you in an empty potion bottle yet to shut you up," Dream complains. "How are you so tiny but so loud?"

"I could say the same about-" George stumbles slightly and isn't able to avoid Dream this time. Fingers grab onto the front of his shirt and drag him through the hole; he yelps as he nearly smacks his forehead against the edge of it. "Careful!"

Dream just laughs, completely unbothered by George's flailing limbs. George shouts even louder as Dream tucks him under an arm like an unruly chicken.

"You'd better not take me out of the walls," George complains, but Dream doesn't stop walking. "It'll take me forever to get back here."

"Yeah, your little legs really slow you down," Dream teases, sounding far too amused. George jabs his elbow against Dream's ribs but the fabric of Dream's hoodie is thick enough that he probably barely even feels the blow. "Maybe Sapnap will carry you if you ask nicely."

"I'd rather die than be carried by Stinknap," George grumbles even though he's already thinking of the best way to get Sapnap to help him. "One day I'll convince him to step on you."

Dream laughs; it's bright and annoying. "You're the only one here short enough to worry about being stepped on."

"He could step on you," George argues. "Or maybe I'll get him to kick you. That would be funnier."

"Not if I kick you first." Dream loosens his grip for a moment and George squeals, desperately clinging to his arm. "Don't worry, I wouldn't actually do it."

"I'd bite you if you did," George hisses, reluctantly accepting his fate and going limp. He's not gonna be able to escape until Dream puts him down. "Shut up."

Dream's giggles don't stop and George sighs, debating the pros and cons of continuing to argue.

"Where are you even taking me?" George asks.

"Out of the walls, obviously." Dream turns a corner and George squints against the light as they approach the exit. "Have fun trying to be annoying now that you can't run and hide to avoid the consequences of your actions."

"I'll just make a new tun-" George starts to say, but Dream adjusts his grip, hooking his hands under George's armpits and lifting him so that they're face-to-face.

"No." Dream chuckles. "I'm not letting you go back into the walls, George. You have to live outside like the rest of us."

"What?" George kicks his legs, managing to smack his heels against Dream's mask. "No. You'll get distracted and then I'll escape and-"

"Sapnap?" Dream calls, stepping out into the open and flipping George around. "I caught him."

Sapnap turns away from the furnaces to stare down at them. ". . .good for you, I guess. What now?"

"I need string," Dream decides, still holding George up like he's some kind of trophy to be shown off. "I'm making a lead for him."

"You're not putting me on a leash!" George screams. Sapnap winces, frowning down at Dream.

"Dude, you know he's not gonna shut up if you do that," Sapnap points out. George crosses his arms and sharply nods, glad that at least one of the idiots has common sense. "Maybe you could make a gag for him too?"

"I hate you," George immediately hisses. They both just laugh. "I will make your lives a living hell if you do that."

"You already do," Sapnap jokes, resting his hand palm-up on the ground. "Okay, Dream, stop picking on the little guy."

Dream huffs but sets George down on top of Sapnap's hand. George sticks his tongue out, sitting down so he can lean back against Sapnap's thumb.
