well i think on monday i will finally do the thing i've been dreading and skip my antihistamines and intentionally trigger an mcas reaction so i can have a chance of getting an accurate tryptase result. they keep telling me antihistamines don't affect tryptase levels but that is just not true according to the literature. i'm almost certain it's the reason i haven't had a definitive positive yet. so my plan is to go to the thrift store next to the blood lab with my walker basket surrounded by the "ew a cripple" field, because i desperately need clothes that aren't full of holes & won't aggravate my nerve compression issues. then once i have inevitably broken out in a rash from the cab ride and the thrift store and the pollen etc, i'll go get my tryptase levels checked. might fuck around and eat a bunch of chocolate first too if i can get any.
this is going to suck so bad but a) if i don't go outside soon i'm going to kms and b) if i don't get a definitive dx and treatment soon i am going to kms. so wish me luck
