I’ll never forget the morning of 9-11-2001. I was running a few minutes late for work when I heard on the radio that the first plane hit the tower. I thought it was a single engine Cessna with a novice pilot and what a shame. And then the second plane struck the second tower. This was not a coincidence. We were under attack. And as the morning more on more and more planes were used as torpedoes in the pictures on TV were horrifying. And just when I thought it was more sadness than I could stand, the stories of heroism started to emerge. And strength returned and anger and love for my fellow Americans…. Black,white,brown, red, white and blue. Some gave money, some gave blood, some gave their lives.
