#AFewThings: 1. Federal Help For States #45's Administration sent Los Angeles county 170 ventilators from the national stockpile that were not working. California Governor @gavinnewsom worked with a Silicon Valley tech company to have them refurbished. Sadly this is part of the administrstion's efforts to sabotage the efforts of states with Democratic governors. #45 has publicly disparaged the leaders of Virginia, Washington, New York, California and Illinois. 2. Civil Rights Leader Rev. Doctor Joseph died last week. Have we taken time to educate our children on the history of civil rights in the U.S.? Have our immediate concerns eclipsed passing on the history of important events? 3. A Difficult Yet Important Fact Currently only 20 percent of people placed on ventilators are expected to live. Please honor preventative measures and requests. Social distancing and hand washing works. Your life may depend on it. 4. Where Are #MayorPete & Billionaire @MikeBloomberg? We see the efforts of state governors. Some have shown great organizational skills blended with compassion, communication and quick decision making. Where are the presidential primary candidates who wanted us to believe they could lead the country? The only one I know of taking action is @AndrewYang who also stated he is considering running for Mayor of NYC. Where are the Senators and Congressional Reps that blocked efforts to help average Americans for the past 12 years? Where are the people normally complaining about how much it costs to care for those in need? 5. Food Prices Expect grocery and fast food prices to increase as there is no one picking fruits and vegetables or working in animal processing plants. 6. What's On TV? Nw movies on TV include #Uncorked (@Netflix), # CookiesandKareem (@Netflix) & #Onward (@Disney+). #TheBanker (@AppleTV) is a great story about a class of Americans hardly seen. Bernard Garrett and Joe Morris are real estate investors who work to buy into white-only business and residential neighborhoods in the 1950's & 1960's.
