they've  only  heard  rumors  ,      but  it's  rumors  arthur's  run  with  all  his  life  ,      and  he's  not  about  to  make  the  mistakes  of  his  youth  out  here  in  his  thirties  ,      when  experience  toils  a  heavy  burden  under  his  belt  .      there  are  people  out  looking  for  him  that  won't  hesitate  to  cut  down  someone  by  his  side  ,      either  .      but  neither  does  he  want  to  leave  annabelle  by  her  lonesome  for  the  walk  back  when  it's  dark  .      so  he'd  pulled  up  to  the  small  cabin  a  mile  up  the  hill  ,      swung  those  reins  around  the  trunk  of  a  nearby  tree  and  shoved  her  through  the  door  in  front  of  him  ,      where  he's  got  the  door  shut  and  his  gun  in  hand  ,      because  :  ❝  we’re  safer  a  mile  away  .      they  ain’t  gonna  be  checkin’  here  .      ❞
